Sime-Vrsaljko

Inter remain alert to the wingers on the transfermarket and a name that appeals to Inter is Sime Vrsaljko, Dinamo Zagreb’s right winger born in 1992. The young player is close to a move to Genoa who has submitted an offer and, despite strong competition from several European clubs, are close to reaching an agreement.

However, our partner fcinternews.it, indicated that Inter haven’t stopped following the player. Inter and Dinamo Zagreb’s directors talked about Vrsaljko during negotiations for Kovacic, but Inter don’t want to spend any money before he’s evaluated in Italy and Serie A, a league that is arguably tougher than the Croatian.

Recently, it has been assumed that Inter have been a part of the negotiations and that a partnership could be a possibility, but it has never been discussed. Inter’s directors have therefore stepped aside and according to fcinternews.it, an oral agreement is supposed to have been reached on a future option on Vrsaljko. The player wants to move to Serie A and Genoa, not least because it gives him a chance to prove his worth for Inter.

If Inter’s high regard for the player is confirmed, Inter could make a concrete offer. But only when the time is right.
