In last week’s episode of Internos on Inter Channel Ricky Alvarez was interviewed and this week there was another reborn player who was answering questions, Jonathan: “I’m very satisfied with the period I’m currently going through because it’s really good. The fans are there by my side after a not too thrilling last season and this has certainly given me the confidence to do well. However, we’re only six games into the season and we have to continue to do well. I have already said many times that a player’s career is such, it consists of ups and downs. Mine has never been easy, in Brazil, I have perhaps gone through more difficult periods than those I have gone through in Italy. Then, as I have explained on other occasions, I came to Inter because of my qualities and I knew my time would eventually come. To my family I said that this would be my year and thanks to God, thanks to Walter Mazzarri and thanks to all the staff I’m doing well.”

“I like it here, I talk a lot with the Brazilians because it’s easier when we speak the same language, but I have a good relationship with everyone, with the Argentines, with Pereira, with the Italians, with everybody. I think this is very important in a team because you always have to be a group and be united. All teammates embraced me after the assist to Palacio in Catania? It felt good because they are the first to know the tough times I went through. they always see me in training and the fact that they all came to embrace me was certainly because they knew I had sufficient qualities to stay in this team.”

An important role in this development has been played by Walter Mazzarri “and even his staff. They ask us to make the right moves. The work we have done in training camp and the work we do every day is good for us and makes us feel good enough to give one hundred percent. Surely I must still develop tactically and physically, but I feel good. A similar work, in terms of commitment, I’ve only done with the Primavera when I was in Brazil.”
