With two days left until the big match against Real Madrid in the Champions League, Juventus’ Gigi Buffon was interviewed by the Spanish newspaper El País. The goalkeeper talked about, among other things, Massimo Moratti’s sale of the majority ownership of Inter to Erick Thohir and the introduction of foreign capital in the Italian clubs: “On the one hand it is positive because they can compete with foreign teams. But on the other hand, I don’t quite like it as Inter and Roma have always been in the hands of the Italians. This way, you lose the romantic part of football.”
