Diego Laxalt prepares for the game against Inter on Sunday night: in an interview with La Repubblica, he talked about his arrival in Italy, his future after the loan at Bologna finishes, and his amazing debut in the Serie A: “It was hard to predict such a good start: eight games and two goals scored. Even if we this Sunday play against the team that I am signed to, I will give it my all and I will be very concentrated. For now this is all I care about, at the end of the season we’ll see what happens. When I signed the contract with Inter I was in seventh heaven and I thought that I would get a chance to stay, then Bologna arrived and I thought it would be a good experience to find some space and improve as a player”.
Then the Uruguayan midfielder returns to talking about his days at Inter: “I always tried to follow the advice of Javier Zanetti”. Before concluding the interview, he comments on his debut in the Serie A, when he scored two goals for Bologna against Milan: “An unforgettable moment, impossible to describe, but I am not too happy with the result. We should have won that game since we were up by two goals with three minutes remaining”.
