Mazzarri recieves the “Premio Maestrelli”

Today, Walter Mazzarri will travel to the city of Montecatini Terme to recieve the Premio Maestrelli, a prize given annually to the best Serie A head coach. Mazzarri will not be the only one getting acknowledged for his efforts. Udinese’s Gianpaolo Pozzi will win the prize for President of the Year, Fiorentina’s Daniele Pradé will become Sporting Director of the Year, Gene Gnocchi has been chosen as Journalist of the Year, the prize for Youth Coach of the Year will go to Atalanta’s Walter Bonacina. Mazzarri, who will recieve the prize for his work with Napoli in 2012, will succeed Antonio Conte who won the prize for 2011. The European Coach of the Year 2012 is Vicente Del Bosque.
