The 17-year old Croatian wonderkid Alen Halilovic was interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport regarding the voices which state that he could be close to signing for either Juventus or Inter.
“I haven’t had any contact whatsoever with Juventus or Inter, these questions are better put to my father or Zdravko Mamic. My favorite team? Remember that modric replied Barcelona to this question but then ended up at Real Madrid. I don’t want to reveal this because if I say which it is maybe I’ll still end up signing for the other club.”
“I like English and Spanish football, it’s true that last summer I was very close to signing for a club outside of Croatia, but I can’t reveal which team it was. If the same team is still interested in me? Yes, I can confirm this. My father has explained to me that I can’t spend my entire carreer in Croatia and still reach the highest level possible.”
