In an interview to Inter Channel after the disappointing draw against Chievo Verona, Zdravko Kuzmanović talked about his personal performance, the game in general and the referees’ effect on the game”.
His comments: “It was a penalty, and this is not the first time that we are denied penalty kicks like this one. Yuto? I immediately realised that the goal should have counted, even in Udine we suffered from some doubtful referee calls.. there is not much to discuss. The referees always make mistakes”.
Kuz continued by talking about his personal performance: “The coach gave me confidence to play and this formation suits me well. I expected to control the team’s passing game, but in the final minutes I was tired since I hadn’t played in a while. My physical attributes can help the team.
There are several games to look back on with regret: “We have dropped several points against the small teams, just like today. We are Inter, but we really tried everything to win. My head? I suffered a real knock, but I am okay”.
About grabbing a spot in the starting eleven: “I am very happy, in the beginning of the season I kept patient and couldn’t really say much since the team was doing very well. But I have always given 100 % and now I am ready to help the midfield with my attitude”.
