President Erick Thohir has spoken to the newspaper Republika regarding Inter’s objectives this season after the recent lack of results: “Inter have improved compared to last year, but a fourth or fifth place is still the most reasonable goal. Nevertheless, we must look at the situation for teams like Napoli, Fiorentina and Hellas Verona. In addition, Inter failed during especially the last games.”
Thohir reiterated once again that the fans need to be patient because “a business isn’t built in one or two months, but you have to wait a few years. The model introduced is that which many franchises in the U.S. have, where you are looking for a balance between sound management of the club and great results.”
