All eyes on Antonio Cassano: after Cesare Prandelli admitted that a spot in the World Cup squad is a real possibility for the talent from Bari, he has quickly returned to the spotlight. Because of this, he did a short interview with Striscia la Notizia‘s Valerio Staffelli as he recieved his eighth Tapiro d’oro (“Golden Tapir”, a prize in Italy awarded to celebrities who have embarrassed themselves in public) However, FantAntonio avoided a question regarding Milan’s poor season by replying: “I am an interista. The teams I wish to speak well of are Sampdoria, Inter and Parma. The other teams that I have played for are of no interest to me whatsoever”.

Branca did great job by trading our Cassano with the Belfodil. And now we can see, Cassano is single handling the whole team to compete with inter in the table. Thank you Branca, Thank you Mazzarri for all stupid decisions.

I think we loaned him out for two year (until his contract expired), while we don’t have to paid his hefty wages.

Sounds like the same for me, we gave him to parma, also he won’t be useful anymore when the deal is over, too old i might say, still the same things happen with Belfodil that goes useless too.

we could really have used Antonio this year and it was silly and amateurish of the directors to let him go …he creates the opportunity for a goal in every single game…whether it gets finished or not is out of his hands, but he creates at least one beautiful opportunity for the team in every single game…often many more…
