Leonardo spoke to Gazetta dello Sport today and cleared up rumors that are linking him to takeover as the new head coach of Inter Milan for next season. The former Inter coach said, “I don’t think that Inter are looking for a new coach right now, Inter knows that I’m very attached to Massimo Moratti and I believe that the new President wants to create a new way of managing the club. It’s a moment of transition for Inter but I don’t believe that Walter Mazarri is at risk.”

About his own future he said, “I’ve matured through several experiences, including Milan, Inter and PSG. I think that I have picked up enough information to create my way of being a coach.” Coaching in Serie A? “I don’t know, but I’m open to new ideas. Of course I’m very close and have special bond to Italy, but at a working level there are many things to consider.”
