Cambiasso: “The supporters were fundamental, they are always present”

Esteban Cambiasso commented on today’s great victory against Sampdoria in an interview with Inter Channel: “I think that the half time interval calmed the game down. In a crazy game like this one where anything could have happened in the first half, we managed to take control in the second half. Our latest home game didn’t end well, and Sampdoria had their fair share of scoring opportunities today, but in the second half we were in control”. Cuchu also commented on his role on the pitch: “When I play with players who like getting forward it means I need to stay back even more, I need to find balance and this is something that I have been doing my whole career. As I am playing with more technically gifted  players like Hernanes and Kovacic, it is natural that I assume this role. Now we need to continue, we can’t stop here. We didn’t arrive from a positive period and a win like this one allows us to work with more tranquility. The supporters? They have never given up on the team, to have their support is fundamental”.
