In a post-game interview with Stadio Sprint, Parma’s head coach Roberto Donadoni commented on the two-nil defeat that left him with a bitter aftertaste: “I don’t see why we would be out of the race for qualification to Europe when we have the same amount of points as AC Milan. My players have a great mentality and you could see that even today. We created several scoring chances in spite of being a man down, the players deserve praise for that. It was hard to see any difference between us and Inter in today’s game. We were punished by the final result because we deserved better. Cassano and Paletta? Cassano failed to convert the penalty because Handanovic made a brilliant save, he didn’t make a mistake, and Paletta was a subject of the referee’s judgement which I am not willing to criticise. There could have been a second yellow card on Samuel, but only the referee can decide and I can only compliment my players, if we had played just a bit more cynical then the game would have had a more positive outcome”.

Paletta red card was preety much deserved, Paletta totally outrun by Palacio & the tackle was nowhere near the ball.
The penalty was 50/50, he had the ball and Inter totally outclassed Parma today
