Marko Livaja was interviewed in Croatia by Sportske Novotski. The 19 year old striker, in co-ownership between Inter and Atalanta talked about his season in Bergamo: “I started well, I was a starting player in a different system but we have immediately got two negative results, so we switched to 4-4-2. Denis is the captain and remains in the starting eleven, I, instead, often was put on the bench. There are a few games left of the season, I’m convinced I can still show my qualities.”
Last Saturday, the quarrel with the fans Bergamo, a few months ago there was the episode in Udine: “That time I decided not to warm up in the 78th minute. In January I wanted to leave Atalanta, but I wasn’t given permission. They said I was too important to the team, only to keep me on the bench and send me to warm up in the 78th minute. Why am I so important in the 78th minute? But in football it is normal that these things happen. I get paid, we are professionals and I admit I was wrong.”
And to those who have already labeled him a ‘bad boy’, Livaja replies: “Many of the things that come out in the press are not true. But I don’t want to make excuses. Anyone who knows me knows that the truth is not what is written. There is always another side. Now I hope that the club will not suspend me, but with me you never know (laughs). Whether it is a question of mentality? You can say that it is the mentality of Split. I left Hajduk at 16 and a half years, it is too early for anyone. But I had to leave, it was a smart move because my contract expired and no one had contacted me yet.”
The future remains unknown, but the doors remain open for Inter: “In Milan there is a lot of competition. President Erick Thohir has announced major investments, will undoubtedly bring in great players. It will be hard to earn a place at Inter. I have a two-year contract, who can say that a good end to the season won’t bring me back to Inter.”

sell 50% of this guy, he’s nothing but bad attitude
Already done, unless you mean the 50 percent we still own.
Livaja was impressive in the NextGen but his star hasn’t exactly grown at Atlanta
Many fans here consider Longo to be our 4th choice striker for Inter. I sincerely ask them how many matches have you seen from him this season? Even he couldn’t do anything at verona!?!?
longo should play in middle east, european football doesnt suit him at all.
Does Middle Eastern football?..
this guy think he is something.
but he showed nothing than his bad attitude so far.
sell him while he has some value.
Playing for Atalanta is a whole other environment then Inter. I really liked this player alot a few years ago when he scored goal after goal in the Euro league for inter, but he and Icardi can really bring bad memories above me. Like Inter spied on Vieri. If these two players come together, They would have a lot of fun, but the media would put double pressure on these players. And they would screw Professionals like Kovacic up.
We don’t need him. As he is not good enough for Atalanta, how the hell can he be good for inter?
We should hold icardi and get morata and casemiro
I think we need him, if we go for 4 strikers, my choice is palacio, icardi, dzeko/ chicarito, and longo/livaja/primavera strikers. I considere botta as midfield
