The former idol of the Interisti, Ivan Zamora Zamorano gave a nice interview published on the official website of Inter in which he spoke of the great experience of being with the Nerazzurri, from memories to unforgettable moments, and he also made a prediction on the World Cup that is taking place in Brazil right now. Below, the words of Bam Bam published on

He started with current events: “After Inter I spent two years in Mexico, and then I spent six months playing for Colo-Colo in Chile, which was my favorite team in South America. And then I retired, I said goodbye to football and started my own business. I deal with sports, health, education, I am also working for the University.”

The most beautiful day at Inter: “Hard to say which was the best day at Inter, perhaps the night in Paris, the victory in the UEFA Cup, in which I also played an important role. Yeah, I choose that. I’m a man that is really grateful to all the teams I played with, but with Inter I have a special bond, also because of the incredible fans. I have to thank Massimo Moratti for five wonderful years that do not end, every time I go back to Italy everyone makes me feel at home.”

The former 1+8 continues: “I went away many years ago and it seems as if I never left. It didn’t happen to me in Madrid, not even at Colo-Colo, I remember that when I left the club paid tribute to me. Giacinto Facchetti gave me the shirt, I had the nine that turned into a 1+8, and the Curva called on me. That journey from the center of the pitch to the bottom of the Curva they called my name, it was amazing, I cried like a baby, it was a great thing, I felt something incredible inside of me. It did not happen to me anywhere else.”

Regrets: “Never having worked at Inter! (Laughs).”

On the World Cup: “If Brazil doesn’t win, it will surprise everyone! They are the favorites, but then there is Spain, Germany, Argentina and Italy and after that maybe Chile, Colombia. The World Cup has to be played, you can say what want, but the games are not won for the story you have behind your back, or the shirt that you’re wearing: the World is waiting for you, it’s the same for everyone, you play game after game and I hope that the surprise will be Chile.”
