Stevan Jovetic has rubbished suggestions that he will join Inter, insisting that he’s happy and wants to stay at Manchester City. The striker’s first season in the Premier League was spoiled by injuries, and with a place in the starting line-up seemingly out of reach, there had been rumours circulating that the Nerazzurri could bid for his services this summer. However, the youngster has indicated that is not the case as he still wants to fight for a starting position at the Etihad.

“I want to stay at Manchester City,” Jovetic said. “My first season was just unlucky. I was unfortunate with the injuries that prevented me playing with any sort of regularity. I have to prove myself in this team, so I’m not going anywhere.”
