Despite signing a contract extension earlier in the year Fredy Guarin continues to be involved in transfer rumors. The most recent one involves Atletico Madrid who’s considering him in case Arda Turan is sold. The Turkish has numerous suitors and he could leave for the right offer. Atletico is being pro active in finding a potential replacement for Turan and Guarin is on their list. There is no negotiation with Inter quite yet, it would only begin should Turan be on his way out.
