The only player that had a good season at Cardiff was Craig Noone + This was his first year in England. If you look at his performances for Sevilla and Chile, you should now how good this player is. Considering this WC and that Cardiff paid 12-13 mln for him in the last summer, i can’t imagine they would sell him for less than 14-15 mln.
i havent seen him at Sevilla, but at Cardiff he wasnt impressive at all. i know they paid around 13m for him, but sometimes you got to take losses… we would be crazy to buy him for anything over 8m, given the fact we can’t buy M’Vila for ~10m and the negotiations are going on for nearly a month now…
(btw a few good games at WC won’t make up for a bad year in the EPL…)
i dont think he was that bad at all. If a team concedes as much as Cardiff last year, it’s impossible to judge how bad a single player was, especionally if that is his first year in a country with completely different football culture.
