Carrizo: “This year we have improved”

Juan Pablo Carrizo spoke to Inter Channel yesterday. Here are his words. “Today there wasn’t much sun, but training with a bit of rain is good: you don’t get as tired and you work to the maximum. The feeling is good, at the beginning there is always a positive environment and everyone is committed to the fullest. This year we have improved compared to last season and we will be even busier during the week. We hope to be up to it: last year we had ups and downs. Mazzarri wants a team of warriors? Yes, we were lacking a bit of character, especially in games where we were in trouble. Inter has champions and it must be demonstrated in the pitch.”

For a second goalkeeper it’s hard to stay focused: “The head is important and when you play a little it’s hard because you don’t feel the utmost confidence that you gain with the games. But if you have a good character you stay ready.”
