In an interview in Radio24 for the program Tutti Convocati, Torino president Urbano Cairo returned to talking about the situation of Alessio Cerci, a target for several Italian top clubs: “We have every intention to keep Alessio, but we need to understand if he has other plans. If he isn’t motivated here, it is pointless to keep him”. Regarding the delicate situation surrounding the election of the next FIGC president, Cairo added: “A mistake has been made and we have withdrawn our support of Carlo Tavecchio, like many other Serie A clubs. The league is currently split in two and a Serie A that remains divided in this question must be considered a possibility”.
