Ronald Koeman talked to the BBC about the transfer market for his Southampton, which is about to let Osvaldo go to Inter and would like to welcome Saphir Taïder. Here are his words: “We want the best for Osvaldo and the best for the club. Taïder would bring quality and we need it. We still need internal competition in the team and this would be a good thing.”

He could do well under Koeman who knows how to develop young players. Plus if he plays well in the EPL his value will skyrocket… current Southampton players are being sold for 25M+. Then we could choose the money to reinvest or bring back a nicely developed player, as long as it works out for him there.
