Today Tuttosport writes that Sampdoria received the rejection from Hugo Campagnaro and then decided to focu on other profiles (Tavares and Romagnoli among others). The Argentine has decided to stay at Inter even in the face of a season spent on the sidelines, so the hypothesis Sampdoria is now closed.

All for a bit of money… Surely he must understand that he is´nt gonna get to play? We play with a three man defence:
1) one is our captain (hardly gonna get left on the bench),
2) Vidic has proven more in about a month than Campagnaro has in a year, and
3) Campagnaro taking Juan Jesus´ spot? Don´t think so!
Campagnaro plays in the right of the 3 man defense so him staying has nothing to do with vidic and JJ plus we can use hugo he wasnt that bad last season and we need a strong bench and rannochia may be captain but im not really convinced by him and if someone should leave it should be silvestre
Totally agree with you mate. Campagnaro played decent performance last year. He could be useful for bench, so long as he do not complain in the bench ! But, i think if it is tru he decided to stay at inter, i think he realize that he will not be a regular player. So it is pretty good for us actually. The one that must be sacked, either sell loan or just terminate his contract, is Silvestre
