I hope we sell both ricky and guarin, in 3-5-2 no space for a classic winger, 18 – 20 millions is too much money for risks. If we buy a cheaper winger like biabiany then we can buy a big name for ss (secend forward more needed in 3-5-2). arsenal forget firmino. i wish we chased him.

He would be a two season wonder, actually. He’s been great two years in a row now and last year played as a SS in a 3-5-2 to good effect. He was able to help get the best out of Immobile and vice versa, hopefully the same happens if we but him with Icardi.
even leaving aside my irrational preference for non-italian players over italian players to look at this objectively I kind of sympathise with you here. ~~~~~~~~ That said I was impressed by Cerci last year as were many people across serie a. I would love to see him and Palacio as wide men supporting Icardi in attack.. Unfortunately I can’t see Mazzarri ditching his 3-5-2 obsession even if we get Cerci-he’d probably use either Cerci or Palacio to support Icardi and bench the other. Alternatively he’d play Cerci supporting Palacio and bench Icardi-the idea troubles me 🙁 Either way Cerci seems a waste of money unless Mazzari switches to a 4-3-3 (or some kind of possibly suicidal 3-4-3).
I dont know why it takes so long to close a deal, instead they wait, until one of ” GUARIN/ALVAREZ ” to be sold.
