Wow the perfect warm up for the start of the season… Kova finally explodes with a hat trick and our new forward Osvaldo gets of the mark which is always important for a striker. Hopefully Bonazzoli will get a run out there!

So far so good. Kovacic is great, Mvilla is solid defensive mid, and osvaldo plays great also. He offers more movement up front which icardi lacks. As a result, its easier for us to score.
don’t forget who the opponent is… to be honest even Rocchi could march through this icelandic defence
yea from what I see this players are more amateur than professional. But again we scored only 3 against the same team the first game and I believe the problem was osvaldo didn’t start from first minute
or simply Kova’s hat-trick was missing…
anyway, we shouldn’t get our hopes up, this icelandic team was the easiest opponent of the past (and next) 10 years i think, if our team works like this againts mid-table italian teams, maybe then… but i’m afraid it will be a boring draw againts Torino on Sunday…
I am sooo happy Kovacic has break his dead luck buy i think it is time for WM to change tactics and play more flowing football because it seems our atrikers find it difficult to score goals from our preseason till date.

A player of his class sometimes just needs a goal to get that confidence and taste of goal… the floodgates could open for Kova this season.
And he needs to be played in the right position. I like 3-5-2, but he has to play as a central midfielder, also defending and not attacking so much. I don’t like 3-5-1-1, but that is where he can play on his true position, behind the striker.
Ha… and then he scores another 😉

Here it goes. Botta gone and we are down to 3 strikers(Osvaldo, Icardi, Palacio). If we dont sign a striker, we will play 3-5-1-1 like a relegation team for the whole season.
