“Both Inter and Roma are under scrutiny by UEFA, in view of Financial Fair Play. It is believed that both the Nerazzurri and Giallorossi will receive a warning from the association’s headquarters in Nyon shortly, as part of a ‘request for clarification’ on their respective situations since they are outside the parameters set by the initiative introduced by the European game’s governing body.” This was revealed by Tuttosport this morning, echoing what the Times wrote yesterday, explaining that the situation is thought to be more serious for Inter, which closed the year on June 30th, with a deficit of about 85 million (it will be ratified by the shareholders at the end of October).
EVERYTHING AS EXPECTED – There is nothing surprising in this move by UEFA that will materialize in November, because, as regulation controls, you have to participate in a European competition before being ‘established’. Inter await the convening of the first meeting in Nyon, but diplomats have long been at work to be able to minimize the penalties incoming and avoid limitations in compiling the UEFA-list (reduced from 25 players to 21).
THE NUMBERS – For the first monitoring period, the aggregate loss of the club’s Erick Thohir was approximately €67 million, well above the €45m limit allowed. The trend at the level of the budget deficit, has not changed and it’s up to the leaders of the Inter to explain what has been done in order to reduce costs (primarily regarding wages, decreased from 170 million to 69). Inter also take as “mitigating” evidence that all things were made in accordance with the directives of the Financial Fair Play from 2012.

The only ting we need is champions leuge then were back. 3 years with out cl have made us very poor
But none the less Walter Mazzarri should be sacked
And then what? He has two more years of contract. Sack him and pay him his salary for two more years, get a new coach and pay him too for the next two years too, so basically duplicate our coach expenses. I see from this and your past post that your are against WM. So, out of curiosity, who would you get as a coach? But, please be realistic, don’t tell me Mourhino or El Cholo. Tell me somebody who is available and would probably accept the Job.
How about Edy Reja? Walter Zenga?
or my personal favorites for the Inter job:
Serse Cosmi
Albert Zaccheroni
Luigi Del Neri
Clarence Seedorf
Alberto Malesani
Conte will come one day. He loves Ranocchia and wants to make him a true winner. He needs him world class for the NT.
Hahahahahahahhahahahahahaahha we buy cheap average players and we get warning. Really? Wow. I wish I’m not Inter fan. But it’s impossible to change that because Inter is in my heart.
You are not the only one 🙂
omg morrati give us so many debt…it will make inter years over years….poor thohir…dont give up mr.president
Next time someone bitches about Bonnaventura or Malasfortuna they should read this. We need some serious tightening…I didn’t think it was that bad, but Moratti and Branca did get us in shit.
Hail Branca!
We shall overcome!
Reading this I get the feeling Moratti left a sinking ship. How did we reduce salaries so much, sold key players, reduced squad numbers, spent almost no money on players this summer, and still we’re on deficit. Start building that stadium, Thohir!
Well, with the shit FFP proposal, Big clubs will continue to buy players for LOADS of cash and they will get all the new young fans of football to their side, while the other teams who are ‘chained’ by the bloody FFP will not be able to bring star players to their teams which in result will decrease their fan base over time. That means their spending power will also decrease because naturally, their revenues will decrease. And hey, your loss is my gain. This is for teams such as Real and Barcelona and the other big teams. It will make the difference between rich and poor increase! Fucking FIFA crap! I’m so pissed. This is bullshit, seriously.
True, but we still have our name and history, which means our youth academy will continue to attract good players and we should really focus on that. I guess in time things will even out a bit for us, but yeah, teams like Real, Barcelona, City and PSG are never falling down with the new rules.
totally agree
Let me remind you that one of the “builders” of the FFP was no other than Moratti! He spend years trying to get this law through!
Fifa is punishing other clubs than ours, BTW, clubs like Malaga, City and Psg have all been punished for not living up to the rules! So no one can buy today without having the money to do so and that, I think, is a good thing!
I am with you Ali. This FFP is like communism, it looks good on paper that it doesn’t work. It is creating a bigger problem. It was meant to save the small clubs from bankruptcy, but it is developing a small group of super elite clubs that will have more and more power and money everytime. Now, to all my interistas brothers and systers of the world. Please read this, and give ET a break when asking for expensive players and bitxxxxg about our current squad.
