Interviewed together with Paolo Maldini at an event organized in Milan by Braun and The Milan Foundation, Javier Zanetti, vice president of Inter, answered some questions from the audience about his past and present and Inter: “In life you need to have respect, also for opponents. Having been Inter captain makes me proud, as captain I had to make difficult decisions even in the dressing room but I always respected everyone, this is the key thing. I hope I have been an example in my career. If Walter Mazzarri had to let me play the last game against Lazio? I wanted to play, of course. But it went well, nothing happened: I accepted his choice.” Pupi expresses confidence in the youth sector of Nerazzurri: “Young people are important and I think Inter is working well with the youth.”
