On Radio Onda Libera, Walter Zenga expressed his thoughts about Inter at the moment: “If Roberto Mancini is changing it? We’ll see what the future will say, let’s wait.” On why Inter has not yet granted him an opportunity to coach: “I started coaching more than ten 10 years ago in the US, I made my way. Some people are born with a shirt and some must buy it. I went to buy me one and I learned to distinguish. Now Inter is closed and very much buried discussion for me. It saddens me when I think of every time someone speaks well of me, as Trapattoni did recently, and it seems that it bothers some that someone speaks well of me.”

But Zenga would return to Italy? “I made a lifestyle choice, I’m with my family in Dubai in a place where quality of life is very high. I have concluded the experience with Al Jazeera and I took a pause for reflection, I would say a year off. I look around and think positive, we’ll see what happens. Closing the door to someone or something is not right. I had the opportunity during these months and I set it aside because I had in mind that something could happen with a return to Inter,”
