Interviewed by a Nigerian radio station, Inter midfielder Joel Obi talked about the objective of Inter for this season. Speaking a few days ago to Radio Sports Radio 88.9 Brila FM, Obi, whose 2014 will surely be remembered for the goal in the derby against Milan, explains: “For the moment everything is going really well with the team, we are very focused on our goal which is to reach a place in the Europa League again, and I am convinced that we can do it.”
Obi also speaks of his personal moment: “I am really very satisfied with my performances so far. I hope I can keep this form to continue to do my best for this team.”

Obi is a fine back up player for a quality winger like Podolski or who ever but he will never be more than that – but he’s a Interista and loves to stay at the club even though it means not playing in every game! Every big club needs that kind of players!
