More positive news about Lukas Podolski.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported on Sky Sports that Inter and the player have reached a concrete agreement. All that is left now is the go-ahead from Arsene Wenger. Due to the transfer window remaining closed, official negotiations between clubs must wait, but for now everything looks ready. Poldi could be on his way to Appiano Gentile very soon.

I would put Podolski in Rano’s position anyone on the field but Rano!!!! haha
4-3-1-2 ..In my opinion podolski would best fit as a support for the attackers, as he likes to play more with the ball and he does plenty of assists. So he can assist to the attackers (we miss a player like this because only kovacic aint enough), and also he can score for that position and the team would probably have better results.
Im disspointed if there’s no change in the defense also.
Ranochia is good, but not enough. He makes to much mistakes and I would like to see Silvestre next to him also would have been better.
With our current squad, Podolski might play together with Palacio behind the striker. Both of them are flexible player but the german has better finishing ability than Palacio. Anyway we need new face in our midfield. I would like to see Allan form Udinese there. He, alongside with Medel and Kovacic / Hernanes will be awesome. But likes of Balloteli and Diara are just waste in my view.
Our squad is not strong,but why our Ausillo want to sell talent,and bring in archaic players.Players of no use to the club:Lavezzi,Podolsky,Diarra.Guarin has work ethics than Balotelli 10x currently.So why not Kuz+money for Balo,or jonathan+money for him.I don’t know if Ausillo considers the form of the player at all.Swapping Guarin with Vucinic,Ausillo should be sacked.Archaic players he know how to transfer

a creative left winger for sure. Whether it’s 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, Podolski’s gonna give Mancini many tactical options on the field. I just hope the deal will close with no last-minute surprises!
Di Marzio is normally a reliable source but who the fuck is going to pay his wages, unless vidic is leaving or he feeling generous to lower his wage, I don’t know but am not optimistic. I would like him to come simply because he is a goal scorer.
Vidic wont get payd if he do not play i m not sure how many maches. its in his contract.
yes!, he can be a winger, or a second striker. i know it’s not his ideal position but since we don’t have sneijder-type of player anymore, i think he and kova can built the game from the second line and leave the rest for icardi or osvaldo
