According to Il Corriere dello sport the player did so purposely to force the club into a transfer or a loan that would take him away from France, with Inter already vying to take him on loan with an option to buy at the end of season for €10 million.

psg have got some of his best years already. They have lucas on the rise and cavani capable of playing on the wing. Not to mention Baheback/Pastore if needs must. They’d probably love recouping some money on Lavezzi-imagine psg take it and move for someone like Reus… That’d really make them not a team to be laughed at in the ucl…
