Podolski is more of a raumdeuter than a winger, so he will essentially be a wide poacher. I’m guessing Mancini will utilise him in a 4-2-3-1 where Icardi is the lone striker with Kovacic in the trequartista role; and Podolski supporting their attacks with Palacio on the right-hand side (unless we bring in another wide player)

Every time I’ve seen him play winger for arsenal he’s done decent don’t know how often you’ve watched Arsenal games but he’s not bad

Mancini always has 4 good attackers in his squad. Goals win matches and if he comes then I would say we have the fire power to compete for 3rd spot.
