Sky reported the latest news about three of Inter’s mercato targets:
Lavezzi: His contract expires 2016. Inter and Napoli dream about the Argentinian and the Inter directors have always like Lavezzi. Valencia are also thinking about making a move for Lavezzi. The striker’s priority seems to be a return to the Serie A because he is fond of the championship and Italy. Mancini could be a decisive part of the negotiations for Lavezzi because of his international appeal. A meeting between Inter and PSG to talk about Lavezzi could be held at Marrakech tomorrow and the agent of the player has given important signals even before this mercato session.
Podolski: At the moment there’s a problem with the buying option: Inter can’t afford to pay 6 million euro’s right now.
Diarra: This situation is totally depending on what happens with the player in the ongoing legal dispute with his club Lokomotiv Moscow. If FIFA gives Diarra the rights in the case, he will join Inter immediately. If Diarra loses the case, Inter will have to negotiate with Lokomotiv Moscow.

let the management do the work
The question is can we afford to pay 6 million for Podolski? He is a great player but he is 29, he has struggled in England, like he has struggled in all teams except for Köln (remember his stint at Bayern Munich) and Germany and his wages presently are 100,000 pounds per week, a massive additional cost for Inter. The 6 million is only a transfer fee. We would likely get very little in terms of resale value and if he should struggle it will be hard to find another club to take him given his wages. Each year of his contract will be work 5.2 million pounds so even a two year deal will cost the club almost 20 million Euros total. I personally think we can use that sort of money to get someone younger who has space to grow and who will have a resale value like Konoplyanka or even Salah.
Cannot pay 6m? What a shame. Shit in this case, we really need a reform to raise money and get necessary players and get rid of useless players.
It would be crazy, but look at following options:
1. Sell Handanovic and raise 25m (any team wants him)
2. Sell Kuzmanovic and raise 3m (bundesliga clubs can get him)
3. Sell Jonathan and M’Baye and raise 6m
4. Sell Campagnaro and Vidic and raise 1m
In total we can raise 35m!
5. Buy Pastore or Lamela by offering Guarin + 13m
6. Buy Paulinho by offering 15m
7. Buy Nastasic by offering 7m
8. Bring Francesco Bardi to replace Handanovic
Inter till summer 2015:
BARDI (Carrizo)
D’AMBRO (Dodo), RANO, NASTASIC (Andreolli), J.JESUS (Naga)
PAULINHO (Hernanes), MEDEL (M’Vila), KOVACIC (Obi)
PASTORE or LAMELA
ICARDI (Bonazzoli), OSVALDO (Palacio)
It looks nice on paper but it is a lot of wheeling and dealing to be done. Valuing Pastore and Lamela at 23 to 25 million is probably wishful thinking and I doubt PSG in particular would want anything to do with Guarin!
Hahahahahahaha… Is this news? or a joke?!
We can’t even afford to pay 6 million? This FFP has officially fucked Inter as it hasn’t done to any other club. Thohir needs to act fast, this is just pathetic.
So FFP dont allow us to pay 6mill or are the money down the drain??? Where are the money Thohir??
I don’t know what will happen with Lavezzi, but will be great if Inter management use the game with PSG to talk about possibility for eventual Cabaye transfer. He’s deep sub in PSG and not happy about that at all, he wants to be regular starter and i think that he will be very useful for us, as replacement for Guarin. I understand that many people offends, but we need that kind of transfers who will bring quality and who’s affordable for us, not to talking about players who’s doesn’t train more than six months like Diarra.
if player doesnt train 6 months he would not be taken but this is not the case
what exactly is happening to INTER that can not afford to pay 6million?
what this speculation and no concrete contact?
wake up MR THOHIR
Pretty funny how Inter, a team which won five consecutive scudetto’s, and the Champions League four years ago, whilst also being one of the top 3 clubs in Italy, can’t afford 6million – I’m starting to give up.. This is getting pretty pathetic.. How come such a club came to shambles? What have the directors been doing with the finances?
This is so pathetic….
We even can’t afford 6 million
