After last week’s comments of the former German world cup winner and Inter player that angered many Nerazzurri fans, the former midfielder strikes again, this time criticizing Serie A as a whole:
“Inter are no longer the team of the past, Serie A has lost its charm due to many scandals and outdated infrastructure. In the 90s, Inter and AC Milan boasted the likes of Marco van Basten, Ruud Gullit, Hansi Muller, and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. Nowadays, most of the big name players play in England, Germany, or Spain; not in Italy.”
Then he mentioned Podolski who attacked him earlier through his official twitter account criticizing his coaching career:
“Inter are badly placed in the Serie A table, it is up to Podolski to prove himself.”
