Inter re-bid for Lukas Leiva after Liverpool refused their initial bid, Mancini holds the Brazilian midfielder in high regards and it is said that Inter have already reached an agreement regarding the personal terms with the player, only Liverpool’s agreement is awaited.
According to SportMediaSet, Inter submitted a new bid to Liverpool with an increase of €500,000 on the loan fee with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, and the reds are expected to reply soon.

Why is Mancini acting like Lucas is the only defensive midfielder out there !!!
i dont like lucas but i trust mancio
If Mancini insist about him we have to get him
Mancini know how to play leiva
if mancio wants him i’m willing to show a little faith at this moment. sometimes we just got to roll the dice i guess
Ah, the infamous Loan with obligation to buy.
The “try before you buy and if you don’t like him, well, you have to buy him anyway!” deal.
Not complaining about Shaqiri’s deal though, but Lucas is eh, I dunno.
I was skeptical too, but it’s what Mancini wants, and the Liverpool fans don’t seem to want to let him go either, so……….
This is the only work around the financial fair play. Loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season means that his price tag would not go into the costs/losses for the 2014-2015 season, but for the 2015-2016. So this approach gives Inter 18 months to come out with the money, which hopefully will come from CL participation.
I rather see with obligation to buy, because everytime we had a loan with option to buy, we ended up not signing him, even if he was brilliant for us(Rolando for example).
In our case it’s more like “we’re actually buying him now, but we can’t afford it until the summer so we have to call it loan + buy”.
