Before leaving for Milan to join Inter, Marcelo Brozovic made some further statements from Dinamo Zagreb’s training camp in La Manga, as reported by Sportske Novosti: “I talked to Mateo Kovacic, he said that he was waiting for me. I have great confidence in myself and in my qualities, my goal is to prove myself and show what I can as I always have in every club where I have played. I think I will have no problems.”

I have a very good feeling about him. I only wonder where can we play him so that he’s a regular. He has an excellent pass, so he could take Guarin’s place as a holding half, but I don’t think that’s the best position for him. But with all the midfielders we’re getting I think Mancio might be thinking of changing formations every now and then. We’ll see. I hope he shines.
