A last minute goal by Moretti gave the victory to Giampiero Ventura’s Torino at the Meazza and moved the team further away from the relegation zone. Here are the words of Toro’s coach to RAI Sport: “A tactically perfect match. The last-minute goal may seem like luck or coincidence, but we actually had excellent initiatives during the entire second half. We conceded very little to Inter, which in the latest outings had done very well.”
“The boys have changed their approach to work, a lot has changed, they can become protagonists. We need to improve, but this performance is an important signal. In recent months we haven’t had a lot of fun, but we are changing gears.”
“Maxi Lopez? He just arrived but has made himself available. He can give us a big hand other than the goal last Sunday and the assist today. He can come back, with hard work and the desire to be a part of the discussion. Like he did at Catania. I’m glad to have him, he arrived with humility and desire to be part of this group.”

well done ventura, you showed inter that having 70 % possession for 90 minutes is useless if you do nothing with it!! and secondly, you showed inter that more can be done in extra time if you use the time wisely.

Torino tactical is not more than a match killer tactics. Torino should have got 5 goals as a punishment for such kind of tactics. Do nothing, but do it perfectly. It was Torino tactics. Great job, indeed.

They are treating us as if we were Barca.. this approach what make Italian football such a painful league to watch.
Great tactics dude but I’ll give it to you that you’re the best bus driver in the town, especially proficient at parking in front of goal.
Yeah, its pathetic to say a great victory after a parked bus and a bullshit 94. minute goal. But its expected from lower teams to park the bus. One of Mancini’s biggest faults is his inability(for now) to break the buses and score goals. Some of our greatest performances this year have come under Mancini against bigger teams.

dude, even karachi football club (if they were exist) would look like FIFA XI when playing against these amateurs
Torino were defending deep and strong aerially. That made us get nothing from set pieces, and also their goal. They broke often and forced us to defend, and we weren’t able to break often. Palacio was poor. Should have done better with his chances. Icardi miss on 74th, I think. We must keep in mind that injuries hampered the flow, and the subs exhausted. Kovacic and Guarin should have pressed forward more. We still don’t see dynamism from Guarin.
Where was Hernanes and Medel? Kuzmanovic was invisible. Obi tried, not a bad game from him. He got in some areas and crosses were decent. But he wore off.
We were direct and predictable. Maybe more creativity and off the ball movement is needed to open spaces.
I am worried about the injuries to Andreolli and D’ambrosio. We are already thin in defense. Also, bookings to Icardi and D’ambrosio won’t help, as we don’t have good replacements in case they are suspended.
Loaning off Mbaye without replacement will hurt. Nagatomo and Jonathan are out.
Medel was suspended. Not a bad game from Obi? Is this sarcasm or? It was like watching a kitten pushing a wool ball around lol. When he got tired he didn’t even have speed, which is about the only thing he has going for him.
He started a little poorly, became better, but yes, then he wore off. But that was also because Mancini exhausted his substitutes. He didn’t do as bad as one would expect from a makeshift. I find it surprising he started ahead of Dodo.
Yeah, I don’t understand how Mancini can have so little trust in Dodo that he plays Obi as a LB before him.
Only saving grace is Obi showed he is utility player. He can cover number of positions with some energy. We need another winger, if we are to make better use of Podolski. Icardi is frustrating, want to see Podolski more in middle.
Maybe Obi has some versatility to go with pace. With more playing time, he could get better.
HAHAHAHAHA :D. Him and the players making this a ceremony of perfect tactics and worldclass skill. They won because we played like shit and they got a lucky goal in the 94. minute, thats it.
