A charity match to raise funds for child nutrition will be held at the Stadio Meazza on 4 May (kick-off 21:00). The event, entitled Zanetti and Friends Match for Expo Milano 2015, will be an evening of top sporting action and entertainment and is being promoted by the PUPI Foundation in conjunction with Expo Milano 2015 and Milan City Council to celebrate the start of Expo.
The former Inter captain, speaking on Inter Channel, has unveiled some details, revealing the names of some of the champions that will take part in this great game: “It will be nice to come back to play again and be able to embrace my fans. I hope that the event is a success. I have talked to many, like Zamorano, Zenga, Baggio, I sent a message to Del Piero, Maldini, Baresi, Puyol, Giggs, Sheva… I don’t know if everyone will be present, but I hope so.”
JZ goes on to speak of Milan, the city which is now part of him: “It is a city that fascinates me, I know many faces and many people. The important thing is that Expo is a great event, so that everyone, once concluded, can speak very well of Milan. ‘Oh mia bela Madunina’? No, it’s still early, but I promise that I will do it (laughs).”
