Lukas Podolski, a player who ignited a lot of hype with his arrival from Arsenal with lots of expectations drawn up on him only to fell on the ground as soon as his second game which since, he didn’t leave the bench nor start a game, forcing Inter to rethink his purchase and check the option of returning him to Arsenal at the end of the season.
According to Tuttosport, Inter are likely to begin talks with the English side regarding a new deal for the German but without all the enthusiasm that they dealt with in the January transfer window as they are, let’s say, less than impressed, however the striker has the remainder of the season to convince the board and the coach otherwise, or else he will be shipped back, with Ezequiel Lavezzi, as usual, the alternative.

I remember the news reported that Inter promised a place for Poldi for Europa League, however Shaqiri is in the list instead, what is going on?
This guy has quality. The only thing I criticize him for is that he doesn’t run much. I don’t know if he is still out of shape or something. But, I certainly think he can run a little bit more. I don’t want to think is lack of commitment with Inter, since he is just on loan.

the german robinho like i always said! no idea why everyone was soo excited when we signed this guy….
Too early. Mancini is still trying to make everyone see his style. And morale has been really low recently. Brozovic seems to have settled right away. Podolski not so much. But I wouldn’t say he’s a flop. And I’m sure he’ll get his chance. Second half of the season is only beginning.

Though I probably would prefer Lavezzi, I don’t think we can call Podolski a failure yet. The guy’s been in Italy for less than a month, he really needs to be given time on the pitch, we can afford to do that because considering Palacio’s form, we’ve got nothing to lose.
