The Corriere dello Sport today gives a clear overview of the Nerazzurri signings under Mazzarri, those signings that came in the summer by the request of the former Napoli tactician are scarcely used by Mancini except for Medel, the use of Nemanja Vidic for example collapsed greatly after Mancini’s arrival, same goes for Dodo nin addition to the goodbyes for Yann M’Vila and Daniel Osvaldo.
The newspaper states that this January Inter have raised the bar for their choices by focusing on players with an international profile, thinking about the future as well, with the likes of Shaqiri and Brozovic to stay long at Inter and participate hugely in the return of the glories.

I don’t think this is true. The ones that don’t get play time now are the ones that suck. Osvaldo was gonna gonna be a started if he wasn’t such a big idiot. M’vila is still fat and not match-fit, I guess he has other things in mind, not football. Dodo is not playing at the moment because he is a bit off-form, but I am pretty sure he will be back as a starter once he feels better.
And please, for the love of god, stop praising new players after 2 or 3 games, I am sick and tired of reading how good someone that we just bought is, and shame and flame him after 10 games. Shaqiri is ok, but he is not great, he misses a lot of qualities to be called a great player, and the same goes for Brozovic. So we will just wait and see how they develop. As for Podolski, well, I predicted that he would suck and that he is the most inconsistent player in football today. Praise comes to those players who are actually better than our shit players – brozo has played 2 matches and has shown more quality than medel hernanes and guarin put together, shaq is a thousand times better than palacio and osvaldo, so why not praise him? And santon… well out of all our full backs, he actually understands the role… so yea, I will praise him… In the long run these players have a future, theres no doubt about that.

That’s exactly the attitude that I was referring to in my first comment. A guy plays 1 good game and the naive group of Inter supporters immediately tips him to be the next Messi, spitting on our other players in the process. A player’s impact in a team can only be evaluated after a whole season, and Brozovic ha many games to play before being evaluated. Also Santon, he has 2 decent games and you already claim that he “understands” his role? Is that you mr. Mancini? Didn’t think so. I know we, as supporters, want Inter to start playing good again and start winning, but please, please, let’s stop acting like children.
When a season ends and I look at Brozovic’ stats and see 3-4 goals, 2-3 assists, 70%+ pass accuracy and a big number of tackles won and balls intercepted, THEN I will say that he is a good addition to this team. Claiming anything before that is simply childish and wishful thinking.

I know you have a soft spot for guarin, and I’m here to break it to ya; guarin is probably the most risckiest player alongside ranocchia, and I think you’ve turned a blind eye to that. Stop insulting us “children” for praising players who help us in a few matches because US fans can only hope our praise reaches the players so that they will understand our dedication to the team and how these certain players have made it easier for us to cheer

Mancini keeps praising Medel. So not sure where you get that from. I think the fans are the ones who do not like Medel because he does not have flair. But I think he is great at what he does, which is a defensive mid in front of the defense. He is essential for balance.

Vidič should start over Ranocchia though IMO, now that we play with 4 at the back. It just happens when you have 2 coaches and each plays very different formation.
