Your first day at Inter?
“I remember, we were on the terrace Martini, raining heavily, there was Facchetti, a historical figure of Inter, and also Rambert, the Argentine top scorer in the league at that time, so it was right that he was the star and not me, then everything changed and I made the career that everyone knows.”
What is your career best moment?
“Easy, the victory of the Champions League against Bayern, it was a dream night in a historic stadium like the Bernabeu and with the privilege of being captain and most importantly, it was the first final of Inter after four decades, the joy of the fans and even the next day party, I’ll never forget those moments.”
Yesterday’s win against Atalanta?
“Today, it was a very important win against Atalanta after the one vs Palermo, as we get closer to Europe, which is our goal, we are trying to have more continuity, Thohir’s new project and his new ideas, they are all fascinating and with him plus the Moratti family together we work to build something great for Inter, all together we try to bring it back at the top in Europe.”
