mazzarri

The first interview that Walter Mazzarri has given after being sacked by Inter was as expected if seen from his point of view. The former Inter coach said: “I did not deserve to be sacked. There are too many prejudices about me.”

TuttoMercatoWeb.com spoke to former Inter player Fulvio Collovati about it. He agreed with Mazzarri in some ways.

“I feel like he is not completely wrong. I think that the handling of Mazzarri at and Inter the fact that he was chosen by a president who then left the club did not favor him. The unclear situation in the club played its part but it is also obvious that you could expect more from both him and his team. I think that the Thohir management didn’t put him in the best conditions to do express himself. That situation has been diametrically overturned with the arrival of Mancini. Now Inter has a well defined structure with the possibilities to invest on the transfer market bringing in quality players like Podolski and Shaqiri to the squad.”
