The 25th league game of the season tomorrow afternoon is an important one. Inter will face Montella’s Fiorentina at the Giuseppe Meazza which now is four points ahead in the league. Roberto Mancini will continue with the 4-3-1-2 with Xherdan Shaqiri starting again behind Lukas Podolski and Mauro Icardi.
In midfield Fredy Guarin, Gary Medel and Marcelo Brozovic will start, no surprises there. In the defense, it is hard to say who will start between Davide Santon and Danilo D’Ambrosio while Juan Jesus and Andrea Ranocchia are expected to form the centre back pairing. Samir Handanovic who has been out the last games will back between the posts.

when there is poldi, need someone like shaq who can run enough..but if play kova, the speed can be added by someone like palacio, especially when play a tight defense like fio…this forward formation really didn’t work…hope i’m wrong :/

I think Kovacic and Shaqiri can only either one starting. Shaqiri seems not a good condition right now . Kovacic can’t help defense and not mature enough to play as a playmaker. Palacio should be in place of Poldu. Santon and D’ambo should be on the right and left. This is tge best condition for now Inter

Now we have so much central defender, we can move JJ to the left, Santon/Danilo on the right and use Andreolli/ Felipe/ Vidic with Rano isnt it ?
Campagnaro, Ranocchia and Palacio it’s time to sit on the bench. Because Fiorentina are not Atalanta, Cagliari or Celtic and we will have to pay for every mistake we’ll do.

Danilo is coming off an injury but who knows..sounds like a good idea to me
I am afraid that we need to give Santon a break. He has not played for a long time and that might be dangerous.

He has been given so many chances. The shit he has been pulling when he had a free goal…He had his chance, I would only use him as a sub.
if everyone would have the number of chances like Ranocchia than poldi would play for sure
Seeing Podolski in last few matches made my head hurt. Such easy goals but he still managed to screw them up. 0 goals 0 assists in the last 4 matches, where Palacio got 3 goals and an assist(and played only about 20 minutes more). Not to mention that Podolski doesn’t make the runs and isn’t aggresive like Palacio. IMO Palacio over Podolski is a no-brainer.

it’s a shame there’s no place for Kovačić in this Inter formation.. but this is however the most effective and successful line-up at the moment.
