After nearly a year and a half from the first meeting between Erick Thohir and the Milano region Mayor, a new meeting occurred yesterday in the hall of meetings on the first floor of Palazzo Marino.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Thohir expressed his desire to remain in the San Siro and started negotiations with the city council to transform the San Siro into an Inter Milan exclusive facility which will only be available from 2018, the year when AC Milan are set to depart to their new stadium, the Inter President has until the summer to decide what route he will take.

why can’t we have our own stadium? because if i see from a sarcastic view, its like we are just given other team’s stadium…
I believe its far better to build our own stadium. I know san siro is legendary but a new modern more compact stadium will give us a boost!
there’s nothing wrong with some bit of renovation. the question is how will Inter fare from gaining any type of profit staying at San Siro. that’s what counts.
so we can only start transform the san siro only after milan have their new stadium?
saw this photo on the skyscrapercity forum . i would prefer to just decrease the angle of the first tier and remove the 3rd tier and a new roof , putting the skyboxes like that (la bambonera way) is no good it would make the stadium look bad
