The road to a contract renewal with Samir Handanovic seems long and hard. At least to Corriere dello Sport, according to the paper the renewal problem is not just about the economic factors. The goalkeeper wants to be sure that he will play in a team that will be competing at top level.
“It is true that with the arrival of Mancini the ambitions are now higher. There is a risk though that quite some time is needed still and then it is logical that Handanovic has started to look around. Where could the Slovenian end up? Roma are rumored to be interested the last couple of months, a team that is sure to participate in the Champions League and that will be in top of the serie A.“
Other teams that could be interested according to il Corriere are Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United. Inter value Handanovic at around 15 million euro’s, should Handa e be sold Mattia Perin or Pepe Reina is rumored to take his place at Inter.

I hope Ibra’s CL story will be repeating again should Handa leaves. We were too dependable on him at that time, and I would say the same (if not similar) case with Handa these days.

If the price is really 12 million, I’m not sure of this sale, who do we get for less money? Perin costs more than 12, Bardi isn’t ready and I don’t believe Sportiello is good enough.
perin cost about 15 mil…bardi will never be ready..he is short and like carizzo,every corner he dont know what to do…but handa really dissapiont me whit this…he wants to leave for what?for playing in CL??like he will never play it…i would rather wait year or two and play and be good in CL that go to roma or arsenal ar i dont know where and be a flop every year…but im guessing that money is problem and maybee his agent…im guessing that CL isnt problem,money is..and he think that he can get much better conract in england or someware else
