Since when is Konoplyanka realistic? AS Roma tried hard and couldn’t sign him in winter… now in summer he is FREE to sign with anyone [huge signing fee + agent fee + big salary that we probably can’t aford]. So I guess he’s going to Premier League, sadly. He is exactly the kind of player that we need… Would still be cheaper than Jovetic 🙁

Yes he was. We were monitoring him for years and he knew it from his agent [his brother]. Liverpool could offer him slightly bigger contract but not guaranteed playing time. Besides – Basel [his town where family lives] is only 50km away from Milano.
City had purchased him for no reason if you ask me. just like Chelsea did with Salah. players in these situations usually explode once given playing time. am only worried about Kovacic, i really like the kid and wish he would remain our number 10, however he needs to improve tactically as he needs to prove to Mancini that he can be helpful to the team. Otherwise he will be the first to be sold not Icadi.
Sad but true..
I see fans say Dodo is bad and that Roma were smart of getting rid of him. I am sure that he is better than all other options we have including D’ambrosio, (excluding our academy star Santon).
Am also sure that was not your opinion towards him during the beginning of the season as well, when Dodo was fit and performed superbly. The lad is young and shall be given a full chance under Mancini, then judge him!
Note about Hernanes, he has never been fit and neither has Dodo, for over 2 months now. Thats why their performance is inconsistent in the little time given on the field, however Hernanes is pure class and his presence is always felt once he steps on the pitch, a player of his type brings lots of comfort to his teammates.
We can comeback this evening, I believe!
Dodo is really good as a left wing back for a 3-5-2 or a 3-4-3… But he is really bad as left back in a 4 man defense, it does not suit him.. I think he can be used as a left midfield as well but not as a part of defence to be honest.

I think with the sales of Bonazzolli and probably Alvarez < plus the new contract signed with Nike and the 200 Million debt paid off we will have a bi more and we will probably sell or offload a couple more players like Jonathan which contract won't be renewed and many more ( if you look closely our economic division is working under the radar with witty moves) 🙂
ehh.. don’t think we will pay of our debts – which is bigger than 200 mill if I remember right – this comming summer, or the next one for that matter! But Ausillio and Fassone are world famouse for putting brilliant loan-deals together.
BTW Mancini could pull some strings at his formor club in order to get us some “left overs” from City.

Im more worried about Mancinis choices now….he benches Hernanes and Kovacic…two of our best players..n prefers Kuzmanovic….stupid choices
He must be benching them for a reason if he prefers Lord Kuz instead.
Kuz is a defensive mid more like a regista while hernanes and kovacic are much more attacking minded.
