Luiz Gustavo was present at the press conference with coach Hecking. This is how he analyses the upcoming Inter-Wolfsburg game.
“It was very important to come from a win in the Bundesliga because winning helps you keep winning. I have played here and won against Inter in the past, tomorrow will be the same thing and the nerazzurri will try to turn the result around. But we need to be focused to make sure that does not happen. What Mazzarri said about me? That is always nice, but at the time I was not aware Inter were interested in me. I don’t pay much attention to rumors; I focus on working with the team. I am happy at Wolfsburg. We know how good Inter are and we need to respect them to go to the next round. I suffer in the beginning of the season, especially this year due to the World Cup and I was not in the best shape. During the break I recovered and now I feel in shape. I want to stay calm and I do not want my name to end up in the papers, I prefer when they talk about others,” says Gustavo with a laugh.
