A disappointed Rodrigo Palacio spoke to Inter Channel before Sampdoria-Inter.
”Unfortunately my goal against Wolfsburg was useless, what a shame. We wanted to pass to the next round but we did not manage to do it. Two years ago I scored in Genoa but then I pulled a muscle. Hopefully we will win again, to gain some confidence and then end the year in the best way possible. We want to reach Europe taking one game at a time. Tomorrow is a game against a direct rival, there are still eleven games. On a personal level I am pleased because I am getting better and the ankle hurts less.”
