This week kicks off the start of the National Team break and from the Croatian team come the words of Niko Kovac regarding Mateo Kovacic and the pressure he is under.
“Inter have very high expectations and ambitions. I have not seen him play as badly as I read in the papers. Kovacic is a quality player but maybe sometimes he has too much pressure on him. It is not the right choice to put this much pressure on such a young player.”

I agree…way too much pressure on him.I am surprised he still is functioning well enough but way off where he should be right now in terms of development.
