It was a disappointed Roberto Mancini that met the press after the draw against Parma.
How will you work from this point on until the end of the season?
“I am very disappointed about the game, especially the second half. The approach was not what I would have expected and the fans were right to boo. We did not let anyone have a nice Easter. Now all that matters is respecting the jersey until the end.”
You seemed very angry today.
“Of course, because it is not possible seeing certain things. Probably the faults are mine as well, we have been preparing for this game for two weeks. I probably can’t explain myself well.”
What do you think about the whistles and boos from the stands?
“The fans come to the stadium and they can whistle when the team plays badly. The players do what they can, but the fans are the fans. They have the right to whistle.”
The rhythm and intensity were absent from the get go, do you think the problem is a physical one or due to lack of motivation?
“San Siro represents Inter, we are an important club. The fans are used to better, obviously playing here is not easy. You need to be strong. There are a lot of points to play for still, we need to do our best to reach a goal.”
What made you think that you would be able to win a long series of games? What do you feel betrayed of?
“By no one, the physical conditions have nothing to do with it. Moments like these exist in football. At times you think that changing the coach things will go better. But it is not always like that. It will not be easy changing the trend but we will try.”
Why did you substitute Puscas?
“I wanted two wingers like Shaqiri and Kovacic with Guarin behind Palacio. Unfortunately it did not go well.
How much time will it take to come back to winning?
“We need to think about next season, while giving our all in these nine games. More will be required considering we did well at Genoa. Today was a step back and we need to change, fast.”
You say the lads give their all, but you admitted that the approach in the second half was the wrong one.
“Certainly. But games like these you win anyway, putting in that little extra that goes beyond the performance. I hope they can understand quickly what I want, we will practice tomorrow. I wish you all a happy Easter.”

Next match, put in a totally diferrent line up. RM problems is he stick with the same losing players for next match, which bad in confidence and make the team predictable to mistake as opponents easily capitalised on that weakness. Inter should have never gone back with RM, nor should they stand with WM until over half the season which always bad for the team. The only reality now is play the remaining matches like its their last before being ‘terminated!’.

I can’t judge someone who said “We’ll try every way”, but all i’ve seen is doing exacly same thing and expecting different result.
Can’t take down sinking parma.
Forget how to win.
Same Inter that didn’t yet improved…
Even world best starting XI will perform fool if they asked to approach game like this…
Note:
Winger-winger-winger…
All i wanted to see is counter attacking football, not some English tactical failure…
When Mourinho stop playing Quaresma and Mancini, Inter win the treble…
Don’t be, mazzzarri doesn’t have a winning mentality, he always blamed something or someone.
right, we should pick a coach for his ability to blame himself. and what is a winning mentality? buying great players so they can won the game on their own?
Mazzarri has no charisma, he is not a leader and he is not a motivator. Mancini is a leader and has a proven track record, I beleive in his work whether it will take one game or a year to see consistency and the level inter are used to. I think it is time to realize changing coaches will not do any good, we need stability and we need to look long term, Rome wasn’t built in a day
o yes he couldn’t motivate and lead a team who started a season with minus 11 points. oh wait he did. o well he must be couldn’t motivate let alone lead a team to win any trophy since he never have a luxury team. oh wait he did again.
o yeah mancini has a proven track record such as having such a luxurious team yet he could only win a competition just by a minute. oh great so NOW we realize something that changing coaches will not do any good? i’m guessing you were on moon when we are in post mourinho era and just landed back on earth since a year ago or so

Ah no point in arguing with you, good day to you sir

o yeah there is no point in it since the “leader” thing you mention couldn’t be proved while the “proven track record” proved to be nothing. have a nice day then

I feel sorry for mazzari now…
Don’t be. He had his chance and failed. I will judge Mancini next season after summer preparations. I hope most will do the same.
I’m not doubting mancio, I just feel sorry for mazzari
Don’t be sorry for him as long as we still pay for his ‘vacation’!!
