The same curva that before the game chanted that they wanted the players “to show some balls”. But the Inter captain was ignored. Guarin and the rest preferred to go straight to the tunnel towards the locker rooms. Until November there was Walter Mazzarri who worked as a lightning rod for the anger from the fans, the players were safe. But when he was fired, and the results got even worse than before then the players started feeling the heat from the fans.”

This season is over.. we need to start planning for next season. not finishing in Europe means we can prepare a winning team and remove all the losers. Plan a scudetto winning team.

Poor Ranocchia. There is nothing wrong with him. The problem at Inter is it consists of full of mediocre players, whom Ranieri, Stramaccioni, Mazzarri and now Mancini had purchased. There was no continuity, consistency and no leadership among the players. Jonathan, Silvestre, Juan Jesus, Campagnaro, Vidic, Kuzmanovic, Alvarez, Schelotto, Botta, Taider, Belfodil, Hernanes, Medel, Guarin, Palacio, Podolski were all bad transfers as we all know. Players lack of respect, dignity and right mentality. I think Mancini should set a hard discipline first like Mourinho did back in 2008-2010. Players have to do exactly what coach has asked for. If Mancio stays Inter next term, he should keep SANTON, RANOCCHIA, D’AMBROSIO, ANDREOLLI, KOVACIC, ICARDI, AND SHAQIRI. Rest of those players can be sold, transferred and loaned out. Handanovic can be sold to raise money to purchase other players. We can replace him with Francesco Bardi or Mattia Perin.
Guarin, Medel and Palacio are bad transfer?? Palacio single-handedly kept us alive and got us to EL when we played shit football under Mazzarri.
medel has been good mostly but has regressed somewhat since then. maybe its form and fatigue, maybe its age. he still could make one hell of a backup.
no. Medel suffered because Inter played at a high defensive line. that is solely RM fault. When a coach puts in an attacking team but playing counter attacking football instead only spells disaster.
we play possession football. most times we concede is because of individual errors. we dont have a single good defender bar medel on his good days. the tactics seem ok to me, its the players who are sub-par. mazzarri was able to get out the most of them but the football we played with him was so ugly im glad he is gone.
Possession? Thats not how i see it. Inter are reverting back to counter attacking football without realising it. And leaving behind dazzed and confused attacking minded players on the field and also the high back line. RM must have forgotten we’re not Man City and we’re not playing in EPL.

Palacio? He was our best player for two seasons ….. I won’t consider him a bad signing despite his performances this season. I would consider Juan Jesus a good signing as well cause he is very young for a defender, has lots of potential and he didn’t cost a lot.

I’m also heavily against the boos. Nothing keeps Icardi and Kova from leaving the team with all the interest around them and if we want to keep them we should support the team even if they play like shit. Imagine if you are a player and your own fans whistle at you more than the opposing ones, definitely not good.

Probably, You guys watch Inter in recent days, after 2010 or so, you guys only know JZ as captain of Inter, you never know Bergomi, first time JZ a captain, he didn’t do much as a captain, since player and Luigi Di Biagio had lot potential as captain, but JZ loyalty and heart, he was chosen to be one. Same goes to Rano, since he and Nagatomo are the longest servants here.
I can see your point but this is what makes the difference between big teams and small teams. Big teams have big demand and fans are not happy to see defeat after defeat. See Real Madrid, two consecutive defeats and they are booed. This us how fans show that this is a big club and they don’t want to take the humiliation of not playing at your high level.
I agree with that but my point still stands. The only thing keeping them from leaving now is their contract (which doesn’t mean anything if player is unhappy) and their good will.

I think Handa shouldn’t be captain, because he won’t renew his contract. I personally think Guarin and Rano should be captains.
Captain Ranocchia doesn’t have the fire in his heart that will make other players follow his calls. Captain Zanetti used to have that aura but now our team is fumbling in the dark without a real leader. Almost as if the players are separated in groups rather than one team.
I miss Chuchu… These days we need him more than ever.

this is his first year as a captain. zanetti also did not have that aura instantly. he had it through times, some bad times. that’s what made him respect the club and being respected in turn. and seeing this, rano does his job as a captain. yet he also needs his time before the team really see him as the biggest guy (aside the coach) in the dressing room

Most of the goals inter have let in is because of JJ and he’s errors! I know many of you don’t want to see it but it is the truth!
Both of them were shit with us to be honest…Ranocchia and jj…they both suck …would love to see them on the transfer list …replaced by Dragovic and Schar

I think most of you here are born after 1995. Back then, when JZ was given the arm band in 1999 he too received much criticism like Rano nowdays and worse came from the Club’s ‘heroes’ and legends such as Beppe Bergomi! Now, what Rano did was not an act asking for forgiveness but rather act of care he has in his heart. He may not be the best player at the pitch nor he is the most qualify player to wear the armband but what he did that day show he deserved the armband. Sometimes captain is not made of skills and flares but heart. And match after match Rano has shown this. If the club decides on which players to stay, he will be top of my list.

Even if he stays, its not necessary that result would have been different. Inter had the replacement but it came at bad timing. Let this season be over quickly and our hope is next season even if that means local matches so be it. But i have high hopes in Brozovic would be that man.
Brozovic is a fantastic player, he has a bright future. But, his personality is not necessarily that of a big leader. He reminds me of Modrick, a plyer that can take the team on his back and push it forward with his actions, but not a leader in the pitch and not big with the media. That is one thing that Cambiaso, and Samuel had. But, those players are hard to find. I like Guarin as a captain because he plays with his hearth, he makes mistakes but granteed he participates in more plays that any other player, and he has the never give up attitude.

I’m not blaming anyone, just saying things the way they are. Ranocchia gets little or no respect from his teammates and that’s not good.
No suprise for that. Maybe the conflict between fans and players is caused by the fact, that fans are mostly over the decade with the team, while players don’t. They think that they’re better, than they are in reality. Club thought that they were will show more, real skills but they’re simply to weak.
