Samir Handanovic who saved a penalty from Luca Toni in the win against Verona spoke to Mediaset Premium:
“When you play bad, we are the first to know. The problem was not training during Easter, seeing as how we always need to work out anyway. Today was an important win, but it was not easy. All that mattered was winning and we managed to do it. Why don’t we always play like this? There are the opponents as well, I don’t know the reason.”
Handanovic was also asked about his contract renewal. “There are no news and there has been no progress. If it is true that I want to play the Champions League next year? We will see, I don’t know.”
